The mermaid tattooed a portrait of the sailor, to keep her close always. This piece is thrown and altered porcelain, with added non-ceramic components. The textured tail is a new addition to this design! Both visually pleasant and enjoyable on the hands, the tiny layered scales catch and highlight a rich green glaze.
